Founder & CEO
A visionary and a giant in the field of e-commerce, with almost 3 decades of experience in business development and management, Mr. Nakkyun Chong has set up businesses across the globe.
He has set up 8 companies with an investment of U$ 1 billion and managed 10+ M&As with SK Telecom and Hyundai in Korea (also helped setting up Gifticon Korea and 11st.co.kr in Korea and n11.com in Turkey, which are valued at more than U$ 10 bn combined). Now, he is bringing his proven expertise on how to succeed in this instant social gifting & alternative messaging platform into India.
An alumnus of some of the world's renowned universities such as Hanyang University, UCLA, California Polytechnic State University, SLO, and KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology), Mr. Chong has attained degrees in urban engineering, public administration, urban and environmental design, advanced technology & media management.
While not working, Mr. Chong loves to cook Mexican food, garden small flowers and indulge in practicing yoga.

Co-Founder & COO
A young entrepreneur with Industrial design background is now designing the business and leading the team of Giftiicon. She is a design thinker who connects design, marketing, and IT, oversees overall operations, and develops the team's culture and vision. She has worked for small to large organizations such as Slash Objects, Knoll, and NASA. Ji Hyun is a graduate of Pratt Institute, New York, and University of the Arts London - Central Saint Martins holding a BA Industrial Design & MA Design.
Shailesh D. Makwana
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
A seasoned professional and finance enthusiast. With a career span of 12 years largely with the Big 4 Accounting and Audit Firms, he brings with himself a rich experience to lead Giftiicon's Finance and Accounts team. Fun-loving and a foodie, Shailesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and also a Law graduate. He strongly believes in one simple mantra of life - "unclutter"
Jong Ho Chong
Strategy Advisor to the CEO
Has researched consumer behaviour and corresponding firm strategy under market imperfection by completing MSc Econometrics & Mathematical Economics in the London School of Economics and Political Science and BA Economics in University of Cambridge. Through his solid understanding of economic decision making and quantitative data analysis, he strives to provide a wider perspective for the business.
Head of Legal & Compliance
Qualified Company Secretary and LLB graduate, with 6 years of extensive experience in Company Secretarial and legal profile in diverse industries including Infrastructure, Hospitality and FMCG etc. Have a flair in handling corporate secretarial, legal and corporate compliance related aspects and implementing corporate governance norms in organization.
Has 7 years of experience in human resource department completed MBA specialised in HR & finance. During 2015 passed a rifle audit in HR & compliance, worked as HR officer for 5 years in textile industry.
HR Deputy Manager
He is trying to make more possible while learning how to do that. Pursued a CS degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Jodhpur). Intrigued and curious about things that make our lives even a little bit simpler. Messi fan, football fanatic, nature lurker, and humble.
